I have to say, I’m really enjoying this “seasonal meal plan” thing I’ve been doing lately. Last night I was thinking about all the stuff I have to do today (let me just say right here that even if I had two days, I could never get it all done… but I can try!) I knew I had to get groceries, and that dreaded “oh yuck, I have to sit down and make a meal plan first” washed over me. But then I remembered, I already have a meal plan! Woohoo!
So I’m off to the grocery store to pick up groceries for week # 2 of my Summer Meal plan.
Here’s what we’ll be having: (The meals listed in orange are linked. Come back throughout the week, I’ll be adding more recipes and linking them here.
Spaghetti, Salad, Garlic bread
Tomato Basil Pizza, Chef Salad
Steak, Potatoes, Salad
Pinto Beans, Salad, Corn bread
And I took out the plan to have meatball subs (not excited about purchased meatballs and all that bread). Instead, we’ll be trying Big Mac Salad, from my friend Laurie over at Homemaker’s Challenge. (For whom I’m now a monthly contributor, by the way, so go check it out!)
Dessert? Hmmm… what are we in the mood for this week?
How about I make some Mini Fruit Pizzas and share the recipe with you? That sounds nice and summery to me.
