
Oatmeal. It’s good for you. It’s smooth, creamy, and warm. The ultimate comfort breakfast.
But sometimes I’m more in the mood for “refreshing” than “comfort”. And sometimes I’m in a hurry, or on the go.
And sometimes I just want my Vitamix to earn its keep.
Enter the Cinnamon-Apple Oatmeal Smoothie.
Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal Smoothie

This is actually a light-tasting smoothie. Sweet enough to be enjoyable but you won't feel like you're drinking dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup apple cidar
- ⅓ cup quick oats
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- ⅛-¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 TBSP cream cheese
- pinch salt
- 3-5 ice cubes
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
- You can sprinkle more cinnamon on the top to make it pretty if you want to.
- *This recipe is gluten free if you use gluten free oats.
