Bow-Tie Tuna Salad
  • 2 cups bow tie pasts-uncooked
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ½ tomato, chopped
  • ½ cup frozen peas--uncooked
  • ½ green or red pepper, chopped
  • ¼ cup Miracle Whip (plus or minus to taste)
  • 1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice-optional
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Put frozen peas into a large bowl.
  3. Chop remaining vegetables.
  4. Drain cooked pasta (don't rinse) and add to the bowl with the frozen peas.
  5. Gently toss the pasta and the peas until mixed.
  6. When the pasts had cooled, add the other vegetables.
  7. Drain tuna, break up with a fork and add to the bowl.
  8. Add Miracle Whip and lemon juice if using.
  9. Taste, you may want to add some salt and pepper.
  10. Excellent served right away or chilled for later.
